Have you ever stopped to consider all the ways that a less than wonderful relationship with your body might be affecting your career, relationships and enjoyment of life?
Whether you have the occasional day when you don’t like your size or looks, or it’s a more all-consuming loathing about your physical self you struggle with, it will have a negative impact on your life to one degree or another.

- It might stop you from voicing your opinion or standing up for yourself, which will hold you back in your career and relationships.
- You might find yourself allowing others to be disrespectful towards you because you already feel low about yourself, which only makes your inner critic louder.
- It might make you skip meals or try punishing diets, which will impact your energy levels.
- You might avoid intimacy or romance, or holidays where you’ll be seen in summer clothes or swimwear, taking away your chances
- Getting dressed each day might take an age because nothing looks quite right, and clothes shopping might fill you with dread.
- You might spend lots of money on the latest fad diets, anti-aging treatments and make-up in an attempt to improve yourself, money which never seems quite worth it and could be put towards savings, buying a flat or school fees.
Did you know that only 5% of women naturally have the body the media portrays as ideal? That means that 95% of women will never match up. Having been through addictions in my late teens and early 20s, I know that being a super skinny size 6 never made me happy, in fact it nearly killed me.
Having been through the physical changes of having two children (and two c-sections, goodbye any hope of a flat tummy ever again!), being permanently injured in a car crash in 2016 and living with carrying degrees of pain with movement restrictions, and then going through 9 hours of surgery for breast cancer in 2018, I truly know what it’s like to have a body that never quite looks or performs that way you’d like it to.
I also love my body more than ever now, in my mid 40s, bigger than ever, scars, wrinkles and limits and all.
Join me on Wednesday 3 February at 2pm GMT for a webinar focusing on your relationship with your body and your success:
